We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2024, at the age of 81, Harvey Cecil Mayhill of Rock Hill, South Carolina, born in Davenport, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Harvey Cecil leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Harvey Cecil may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Mayhill; his children, Kristine Puterbaugh (Jordan) and Bruce Mayhill (Mayuko); and his grandchildren, Daniel Kalshoven (Katie), Jonathon Kalshoven (Ashley), Emily Kalshoven (David), Stefanie Parish, Sachi Parish, Angelina Parish and Debra Sheets (Lawrence). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church (2115 Celanese Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732).
