With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glenn Simril Sr. (Rock Hill, South Carolina), who passed away on January 22, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Simril and Mabel Glenn Simril; his wife Betty Jean Williams Simril; and his brothers, Johnny Simril and Bobby Simril.
He is survived by: his children, David Glenn Simril, Jr (Patti), Clare Hayes (Windell) of Rock Hill and Glenda Small (Butch) of Rock Hill; his grandchildren, Stephanie McKinney, Rachael Hernandez, Jennifer Larson and Kurt Small; his close friend Mary Dubard; and his siblings-in-law, Jessie Lynn Simril of High Point, NC, Jack Barnes, James Covington and Tommy Williams.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, 2132 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
