She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Glenn Van Tassel and Mabel Hendricks Van Tassel; and her husband Frederick A. Thompson (John James Ragin, Jr.). She is survived by: her son Frederick Van Tassel Thompson (Van); her stepchildren, Jay Ragin (Suzanne) and Cindy Hughes (Chuck); and her stepgrandchildren, Cody Hughes, Ragin Hughes, Anna Prange (Gregg) and Luke Ragin.
