It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Yarbrough McClure of Rock Hill, South Carolina, born in Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce McClure; her daughter Elaine Long; her son-in-law Jesse; and her parents, Robert Yarbrough and Daisy Yarbrough.
She is survived by: her children, Vicky Walkup (Ed) of Fort Mill, SC and Bruce McClure Jr. of Charlotte, NC.; her grandchildren, Kelly Browning (Kevin), Burton Walkup, Clint Walkup (Sonia), Wendy Becker (Mike) and Nathan Walkup; and her great grandchildren, Grayson Browning, Brandon, Andrew, Jesse Becker, Olivia, William and Emma Walkup.
In lieu of flowers, her family would like memorials made in Glady's name to Providence Care LLC, 500 Lakeshore Parkway, Rock Hill, SC 29730 or Wilson Grove Baptist Church.
