It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Dewey Marshall III of Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Dewey Marshall Jr. and Frances Westbrook Marshall; and his son James Read Marshall. He is survived by: his wife Jean Faile Marshall; his children, Charlotte Marshall Archer (Rory) of Rock Hill, SC, Whitney Gardner of Cayce, SC, Mary Sanders Marshall Lazenby (Andrew) of Rock Hill, SC, Frank Marshall (Paige) of Rock Hill, SC and Jeffrey Gardner (Stephanie) of Howey; his siblings, Wylie Marshall (D. J.) and Cammie Marshall Brazzell of Rock Hill, SC; and his grandchildren, Jordan Marshall, Ellison Marshall, Courtney Gardner Taylor (Jesse), Nicholas Gardner, Elizabeth Gardner and Taylor Lazenby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
