We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2023, at the age of 89, Frances Burgess (Rock Hill, South Carolina) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frances Burgess to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her mother Melba Misskelley Porcher; her husband Palmer Lee Burgess; her stepfather Milson Porcher; her daughters, Pamela Burgess and Beth Dennis; and her son-in-law Frank Dennis.

She is survived by: her children, James Burgess, Palmer "Lee" Burgess, Gary Burgess, Lynne Burgess, Terry Smith (Mike), Diane Angel (Roger) and Donna B. Talley (Ricky) of York; and her brother Robert "Bob" Misskelley (Shirley). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Burgess' name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
