She was predeceased by: her parents, Alix Jackson Hodge and Leona Mixson Smith; her husband Lewis P Smith, Sr.; her sisters, Helen Hodge Troxel and Nancy Hodge O'Bryant; and her brother-in-law Russell Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Lewis P Smith, Jr. (Beth) and Alan Smith Sr. (JoEllen) of Rock Hill, SC; her brothers-in-law, Steve Troxel of Manning, SC and Jimmy O'Bryant of Greenwood, SC; her sister Elinor Hodge Smith; and her grandchildren, Laura Smith, Abby Costner (Zach) of Rock Hill, SC, Alan Smith, Jr. and Carson Smith of Rock Hill, SC. She is also survived by her many nephews and nieces.
