She was predeceased by: her husband Donovan Story; her daughter Rena Williams; her grandson Desmyn Williams; and her siblings, Charles and Irene.
She is survived by: her children, Rachelle Walker (Tom) of Lake Wylie, SC, James Story of Gastonia, NC and Brian Story of Colorado; her siblings, Ernie, Ross, Frank, Pat, Nivas, Dean, Kathy, Annie, Ethel, Terri and Barbara; and her grandchildren, Josh, Breauna, Rhiannon and Sascha. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
