She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny James Alexander McWatters and Bessie Jeanette Quinton McWatters; her siblings, James T. McWatters, Clarence A. McWatters, Dewey L. McWatters, Albert E. McWatters, Carl J. McWatters, Bob McWatters, Gene McWatters, Grady McWatters, Hazel King (Lib) and Minnie L. McWatters; and her grandson Jason Tadlock.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel Taylor Simmers; her children, Daniel R. Simmers, Shelly Sikes, Sarita J. Simmers and Stacey J Simmers; and her brother Jessie Harold McWatters. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
