It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Amick Craven of Rock Hill, South Carolina, born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ausburn Amick, Sr. and Minnie Belle Hayes Amick; her husband Leon Bryan Craven; her brother William A. Amick, Jr.; her sister-in-law Dorothy H. Amick; her sister Barbara A. Thompson; her brother-in-law Jones "J. P." Thompson; and her nephew Michael N. Thompson.
She is survived by: her niece Debbie A. Faulkenberry (Malcom) of Rock Hill; her nephews, William A. "Trey" Amick III (Trudy) of Rock Hill, W. David Thompson (Dana) of Belmont, NC, Robert B. Mintz (Marilyn) of Marietta, Richard H. Mintz (Ginny) of Kennesaw and Phillip D. Mintz (Diane) of Marietta; her goddaughters, Sarah Mann Willcox and Rebecca Mann-White of Raleigh, NC; and her friend Debbie A. Garrick of Rock Hill. She is also survived by great nephews and nieces and several great-great nephew and nieces.
