She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Elmore Ashley and Mabel Elizabeth Melton Ashley; and her sisters, Elizabeth DalPoggetto, Juanita Hatchell and Debra Elwell.
She is survived by: her husband John Lesslie Smith, Jr.; her daughters, Candace Michelle Harris (Brian) of BayMinette, AL and Krystal Lynn Moore of Rock Hill; her grandchildren, Christopher Harris, Gage Moore, Rosa Eaton and Rachel Harris; her great grandchild Kingston Moore-Parker; and her son-in-law Danny K Moore of Rock Hill. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
