It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ernest Lowry Benfield Sr. of Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on October 8, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bell Benfield and Beulah Workman Benfield; his son Tommy Benfield; and his siblings, Lewis Benfield, James Benfield, J. W. Benfield and Ruby Puckett.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Benfield; his children, Ernest Benfield, Jr. of York and Carol Canipe of Miami; and his stepchildren, Teddy Horne of Richburg and Lisa Wolfe (Marty) of Chester. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
