He is survived by: his parent Frances May Milling Barnes; his wife Louise Barron Barnes; his children, Susan Barnes Ellis (Bernie) of Greenville, SC, Frances Barnes Elliott of Greenville, SC and Edwin Ladson Barnes, Jr.; his wife Wallace of Charlotte, NC; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Ellis, Ladson Ellis, Barnes Elliott, Edwin Barnes III, Anna Barnes and Milling Barnes.
