He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvyn Mood Meyer and Bertie Meyer; his brother Alvyn Meyer Jr.; and his daughter Susan Schuelein. He is survived by: his wife Sarah; his son Kevin Meyer (Denise); his siblings-in-law, James Ferguson (Cora) of Sanford and Jacque; and his grandchildren, Kirsten Meyer, Selena Starr, Bethany Meyer, Emily Mora and Madeline Meyer.

Memorials may be made in Mr. Meyer's name to St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Fort Mill.
