He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Tillman and Dovie Mullinax Sprouse. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Carroll Sprouse; his children, Lisa S. Allen of Rock Hill, SC and Stan Sprouse (Teresa) of Boone, NC; his sister Jerrean S. Kale of Clover, SC; his grandchildren, Jimmy Allen and Ashley Hall; and his great grandchildren, Jadon Allen, Chase Johnson, Cole Aubree and Bentley Hall.
