He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Oscar McCorkle and Onie Lee Deaton; and his brother Kenneth McCorkle. He is survived by: his wife Viola McCorkle; his children, Lana, Mollie, Ricky, Brady, Steve Hill (Anita) of Rock Hill, SC and John Hill of Chester, SC; and his siblings, Lyndia Bailey (Ray Wright) of Rock Hill, SC, Gayle McCorkle (Sissy) of Greensboro, NC and Robert McCorkle of Wilmington, NC. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
