It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Davis Patrick Blackerby of Rock Hill, South Carolina, born in Brunswick, Georgia, who passed away on December 26, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Granberry Blackerby and Virginia Blackerby; and his son Davis Patrick Blackerby, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Blackerby; his children, Debbie Blackerby of Rock Hill, Patty Giles (Billy) of West Columbia, Jenny Blackerby of Rock Hill and Eric Blackerby (Jeanette) of Simpsonville, SC; his daughter-in-law Nora Faedo of Tampa; his grandchildren, Taylor Blackerby, Weston Blackerby, Samuel Aaronson, Savanna Blackerby, Mary Caroline Giles, Daniel Giles, Olivia Blackerby and Elle Blackerby; and his siblings, Thomas Blackerby of St. Simons Island, GA, Johnny Blackerby of Brunswick, GA and Nancy Nelson of Lyons, GA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
