It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darrell Adams of Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on July 30, 2020, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Curtis Kelly Adams and Brenda Parris Adams of Rock Hill; his wife Rachel Eudy Adams; his daughters, Chelsey Adams of Lancaster, Karlee Adams of Rock Hill and Kelly Adams of Rock Hill; and his sister Janet Duncan (Delane) of Catawba.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Adams's name to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children, 950 W. Faris St., Greenville, SC, 29605.

“Darrell was my supervisor at Carowinds during my 5 summers as a lifeguard at the wave pool. Those were awesome times. We were young, played on the C.W.A. softball teams that ruled the Carowinds softball league and The Big Kahuna was our fearless leader. A wave pool supervisor who couldn't swim, but had a heart of absolute gold. I'm sure had one of his guards been in trouble in the water, he would have jumped right in for us. We'll miss the big guy dearly. RIP Kahuna and CWA brothers forever!!”
