He was predeceased by: his parents, Palmer Harrison Rawls and Bessie Byrd Rawls; his siblings, Helen Knight (Ed) of Rock Hill, Betty McCrorey (Carlisle) of Chester and Grady Rawls (Mary) of Rock Hill; his great-niece Lauren McNellis; and his great-nephew Kelly Rawls.
He is survived by: his wife Martha "Bettye" Hinson of Charlotte; his children, Brenda Ethington (Jeff) of Spartanburg, Glenn Rawls of Columbia and Michael Rawls of Moncks Corner; his nephew Stan Rawls (Donna); his nieces, Dr. Carol Anne McNellis (Tom) and Rose Ann Sansone (Perry); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan McNellis, Ben Sansone, Caroline and Allie Sansone.
