He was predeceased by: his parents, John Agustus Fox Sr. and Cammie Harris Fox; and his siblings, John Fox Jr., Frances Sistare and Linda Fox.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Fox; his daughter Laurie Odell (Robert); his sister Mandy Fox; and his grandchildren, Caroline Prosser (Bryan) and Nathan Odell.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Charlie's name to Oakland Avenue Presbyterian Church or New Kirk Baptist, Children's Ministries.
