He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Thomas (Heyward) and Leslie Butta (Mark); his grandchildren, Brandie Goulette (Brian), Caleb Thomas, Austin Pullin and Lindsey Butta; his great grandchildren, Arthur and Isaac Goulette; and his brother Virgil Funderburke.
