He is survived by: his wife Doris Black McDaniel; his sons, Cecil E McDaniel, Jr. of Chester, SC and Darryl McDaniel of Rock Hill; his siblings, Charlie McDaniel (Betty) of Fort Mill, Jimmy McDaniel (Diane) of Rock Hill, Harold McDaniel of Rock Hill and Helen Brock of Rock Hill; his grandson Matthew McDaniel (Crystal); and his great grandchildren, Nicki McDaniel of Rock Hill, Ava McDaniel of Rock Hill, Lawson McDaniel of Rock Hill and Ryder Wilson of Chester.
