She was predeceased by: her parents, John Elmer Huggins and Bertice Rollins Huggins; her husband Col. Alex Kendall; and her siblings, Elbert Huggins, Charles Huggins and Pam Chapman.
She is survived by: her children, Debra E. Adkins (Bill) of Catawba and James Newton Elmore Jr. (Janet) of Titusville, FL; and her grandchildren, Eddie Adkins (Kori), Tammy McGovern (Kevin), Robin Vosler (Jason) and Brandon Elmore (Amber).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Kendall's name to the charity of one's choice.
