It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Busbee Carpenter (Rock Hill, South Carolina), born in Homerville, Georgia, who passed away on May 20, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril B. Busbee, Sr. and Thelma Ecord Busbee; and her husband Robert Reid Carpenter, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Lyn C. Garris of York, SC, Laurie Carpenter of York, SC, Robert Reid Carpenter, Jr. of Rock Hill, SC and Liza C. Fennelly of Athens, GA; her grandchildren, Matt, Christopher, Jonathan Fennelly, Micah Dodds, Courtney, Gabriella Carpenter and Eliza Foster; her brother Cyril B. Bushee, Jr. of Greenville, SC.; and her great grandchildren, Brayden Foster, Avi Dodds and McKenzie Fennelly.
