With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carole Yvonne Hinson Maskus of Rock Hill, South Carolina, born in Boone, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 14, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Van Hinson and Kate Townsend Hinson; and her husband Paul Maskus. She is survived by: her daughter Kathie Vaughn Reid; her son-in-law Bill Reid; her granddaughter Miranda Reid; and her pet Dixie.
