It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Washington Lewis of Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on October 20, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Mildred of Washington; and her brother David of Washington. She is survived by: her brother Billy Ray of Winston-Salem, NC; her nephews, Darryl Jackson, Sr. of Winston-Salem, NC, Warshau Lbrajh Zaid-Sada of Atlanta, GA and Andray Charleston of Salisbury, NC; her niece Bernadette of Charlotte, NC; her great-nephews, Marcus Cowan of Salisbury, NC, Darryl Jackson, Jr. of Salisbury, NC, Desmond Jackson of Salisbury, NC and Joslin Cuthbertson of Los Angeles, CA; and her cousin Bonnie Burgess of Windsor Hills, CA.. She is also survived by great-grand nieces and nephews, along with several close friends.
