It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Nicholson of Rock Hill, South Carolina, born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Troy Griffin and Tiny Rollins Griffin; her husband Charles "Eddie" Nicholson; her son Charles Lewis; and her siblings, Cathaline Griffin Peek, Howard Griffin and Jerry Griffin.
She is survived by: her pet Charlie; her grandson Drew; her children, Deborah Turney and Danny Lewis; her grandchildren, Lindsey Lewis, Matt Turney, Troy Lewis (Breanna) and Preston Darby; her great grandchildren, Levi Lewis and Layla Turney; her daughter Emily Darby; her grandchildren, Mills Sharpe and Kitty Sharpe; and her daughter-in-law Joyce Lewis.
