She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie F. Blackmon and Ramona Blackmon; and her brother-in-law Ronald Wallace Strait, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Jessica Thrift (Keith) of McConnells, Ashley Bailey of Lancaster, SC and Scott Bailey (Carrie) of Lancaster, SC; her sisters, Marilyn Strait of Myrtle Beach, SC and Angie Coulter (Scott) of Lake Wylie, SC; and her grandchildren, Alyssa, Olivia, Brionna, Kasey, Zackary, Kayla, Dakota, Josh and Grayson. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, and three nieces and one nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ms. Bailey's name to Samaritan's Purse PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607-3000.
