He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Royal McDaniel Sr. and Myrtle Ashley McDaniel; his wife Barbara Robinson McDaniel; and his siblings, Lewis Royal McDaniel Jr., Fred Bundy McDaniel and Wilma McDaniel Roberts.
He is survived by: his daughter Allison McDaniel Paul of York; his grandson Bradley Paul (Cory) of Greenville, SC; his great grandchildren, Mac Paul, Gates Gallis and Carter Paul; his brother Donald R. McDaniel (Nancy) of Rock Hill; and his sister-in-law Joann McDaniel of Rock Hill.
