He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus Luther Boan and Elizabeth Louise Casey Boan; and his brother Jimmy Dean Boan. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Montgomery Boan; his children, Bobby Lee Boan, Jr. (Tammy) of Houston, TX, Wesley Dean Boan of Rock Hill and Crystal Boan Hamilton (Jamie) of Rock Hill; his grandchildren, Wesley Dean Boan, Jr. of York, Laura Boan Patterson (Allen) of Lancaster, Melanie Boan of York, Amanda Boan and Chelsea Boan; his stepgrandchildren, Aaron Hamilton of Fort Mill, Brent Hamilton and Jayna Hamilton of Rock Hill; his great grandchildren, Jordyn Allen of Houston, TX and Violet Patterson; and his daughters, Karen Griffin of York, Sharon Courtney of York and Debbie Boan of York.
