He is survived by: his wife Verla Mae James Cartwright; his children, Carmen Cartwright (RuthAnn) of Little Mountain, SC and Cynthia Hill (Greg) of Richburg, SC; his sister Jeanette Allen of York, SC; and his grandchildren, Zach Hill, Karson Hill (Brittany), Erika Wasiak (Farand), Emily Elizabeth Cartwright and Olivia Catherine Smigelski (Russell).
