With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Phifer Boatwright (Rock Hill, South Carolina), born in Marshville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 4, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Phifer and Lillie Phifer; and her husband William David Boatwright. She is survived by: her sons, Roger Boatwright (Ann) of Rock Hill and Randy Boatwright of Rock Hill; her grandchildren, Zachary, William and Hannah Boatwright; and her sister Shirley Vendrick (Robert) of Charleston. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
