It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Mulkey Hines of Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Levi and Alice Melissa O'Dell Mulkey; her former husband Whitney Donald Hines; her daughter Carol Lynn Hines; and her siblings, James Mulkey, Hal Robert "Bobby" Mulkey, Josephine Mulkey Cheney, Lucille Mulkey Davis, Margaret Mulkey Johnson (Don Hines) and Billie Mulkey Rogers.
She is survived by: her husband Disease; her children, Whitney Donald Hines, Jr. (Martha) and Melissa Hines Monroe (Max); and her granddaughter Maris Joelle Monroe.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. John's United Methodist Church (321 S Oakland Ave, Rock Hill, SC 29730).
