He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Roberts and Nettie Thompkins Roberts; his wife Mary Magdalene Roberts; his sons, Keith Roberts and Ronnie Roberts; and his siblings, Mack Roberts, Burroughs Roberts, Leo Roberts, Bessie Edwards and Viola Paluch.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Roberts of Cartersville, GA and Yuvette Roberts of Richburg, SC. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
