He was predeceased by: his mother Nancy H. Barnette; and his grandfather Jesse Whitten. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Pearson Barnette (Kayce); his son Auston; his father Clyde Barnette; his stepmother Gerry Barnette; his grandmothers, Peggy Bassett and Sarah Whitten; his brothers, Alec (Brittany), Cameron Brett (Lisa) and Chris Brett; his parent-in-law Eric Pearson; and also Tammy Pearson. He is also survived by two nephews and one niece.
