We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2024, at the age of 80, Norah Alberta Gibson of Ridgeway, South Carolina, born in Blythewood, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, JD Gibson and Lucy Williams Gibson; and her siblings, James (Eva), Ernest (Lillian), Edward Gibson, Nathaniel Gibson, Eveleen Gibson and Willie Mae Adams (Lewis).
She is survived by: her sister Gladys Gibson; her sister-in-law Rosa Gibson of Ridgeway; her sister Virginia Spigner; her nephew Koskie Gibson; and her godson Nelson Spigner II.
Viewing was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home (2930 Colonial Dr, Columbia, SC 29203). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Rehoboth Baptist Church (4646 Hard Scrabble Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
