He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Boykin and Lottie Vermelle Myers Boykin; and his brothers, Vernon Boykin, Rickey Boykin and Ray Boykin.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Lynn Boykin; his children, Greta Godbolt (Houston), Pepper Harrison (Hoyt) and Todd Boykin; his sister Frances Gayle Mogridge (Fred); and his grandchildren, Amber, Christopher, Candy, Johnathan, Savannah, Caitlin, Madison, Cayle, Joseph, Christian, Daphne, Cole and Stella. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Missionary Fund.
