With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Lewis Waters of Ridgeway, South Carolina, born in Hartwell, Georgia, who passed away on October 16, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dana and Catherine Yancey Waters Jr.; and his wife Elaine Ogburn Waters. He is survived by: his children, David P. Waters (Kirsten), Catherine E. Murphy (Scott) and Margaret W. Woodruff (Troy); and his brothers, George Dana Waters, III and Samuel C. Waters (Mary). He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
