He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Jack Guthrie, Jr. and Jean Humphries Guthrie; and his brothers, Michael L. Guthrie, Sr. and Timothy S. Guthrie. He is survived by: his siblings, Joe Guthrie of Gaffney, Billy Guthrie (Jane) of Greer and Jill Guthrie Thomson (Tom) of Las Vegas; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara P. Guthrie of Gaffney and Gay Gettys Guthrie of Gaffney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Frederick Memorial Gardens (986 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341).
