She is survived by: her children, George Samuel "Sam" Mattox, Jr. and Patricia "Patty" Mattox; her grandchildren, Mindy McManus (Byrd), Allison Branham-Tempest (Lee) and Dustin Seeger (Eryn); her great grandchildren, Aria McManus, Charlotte Branham-Tempest, James Branham-Tempest and Mady Weaver; her sister Peggy Mishoe; and her nephew Michael Goodwin (Patsy Palmer).
