It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Virginia Altman-Sharp (Ridgeville, South Carolina), born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on April 27, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Padgett and Mary Ann Shepherd Padgett. She is survived by: her husband Lowell Franklin Sharp of Ridgeville; her daughters, Angela Crosby (Delvin) of Walterboro, Peggy Sue Long of Ridgeville and Melissa Stanley (Marvin) of Walterboro; her stepchildren, Cassandra Cook (Sam) of Indiana, Christy Davis (Corey) of Tennessee and Carrissa Sharp of Indiana; her sister Judy Tindall of Hampton; and her uncle Shepherd (Gloria). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
In consideration of the extraordinary circumstances associated with the Coronavirus, the family will hold a private graveside funeral service for Mrs. Virginia at the Altman Memorial Park in Ridgeville.
