She was predeceased by: her parents, Benny Muckelvaney and Laney Muckelvaney; her husband Gurney; her sons, Gurney Russell, Jr. and Kevin G. Russell; and her siblings, Blondell Russell, Ruth B. Scott, Jerry Muckelvaney and Amar Muckelvaney.
She is survived by: her children, Erney Russell of Ridgeville, Vendell Russell of Ridgeville, Paul Russell of Ridgeville, Milbert Russell of Ridgeville, Dorothy Creel of Ridgeville, Ray Russell of Ridgeville, Clinton Russell of Walterboro and Ernestine Heath of Summerville; and her siblings, Alfred Muckelvaney of Ridgeville, Roy Muckelvaney of Ridgeville, Bennie Muckelvaney of Ridgeville, Milbert Muckelvaney of Rosinville, Carrie Platt and Sarah Russell of Ridgeville. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
