He is survived by: his spouse Terry Annette Gardiner (Bletsch); his children, Robert William Gardiner, Jr. (Debbie) of Santee, Kim Gardiner Manfredi (Edward) and Laura Gardiner Cushing (Michael) of New Jersey; and his sister Lynne Gardiner DiForte (Louis) of New Jersey. He is also survived by Five grandchildren, five step grandchildren and one great grandson.
