Irene Hill Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Hill (Ridgeville, South Carolina), who passed away on December 22, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earlie McKinley Hill and Evelyn D. Smith Hill; and her daughters, Pam Truelove Shobe and Lisa G. Truelove. She is survived by: her daughter Valerie Truelove-Kelley (Keith) of Goose Creek; her siblings, Nell Eadie of Givhans and Herman Hill (Peggy) of Lebanon; and her grandchildren, Brandy Bayless (David), Brandon Shobe (Misty), Glenn Shobe and Anthony Yatczak. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Rudd Branch Cemetery (1313 Lebanon Rd, Ridgeville, SC 29472). Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lebanon Community Center (1183 Lebanon Rd, Ridgeville, SC 29472). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Rudd Branch Cemetery, 1222 Whitehouse Road, Summerville, SC 29486; the Berkeley Animal Center, 131 Central Berkeley Dr., Moncks Corner, SC 29461; or to the Alzheimer's Association, Attn: Gift Processing, 4600 Park Rd., Suite 250, Charlotte, NC 28209.
