He is survived by: his sons, James Creel of Orangeburg and John Creel of Ladson; his grandchildren, James Creel, Jr. of Tennessee, Chloe Creel of Tennessee, Dakota Creel of Tennessee and Nathan Creel of Tennessee; and his sisters, Larmae Creel of Ridgeville and Lizzie Creel of Ridgeville. He is also survived by one great grandchildren.
