She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Harvey Rice, Sr.; and her son Charles Harvey Rice, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Wanda Rice Dexter (Peter) and Timothy Ilderton Rice (Marianne); her grandchildren, Holly, Ryan, Mallory, Erica, Timothy and Taylor; her great grandchildren, Alexas, Mason, Jaden, Christian, Syndey, Presleigh, Tristan, Tryniti, Victor, Jeremiah, Juddah, Brett, Cade and Alexis; and her great great grandchildren, Bellamy and Emilia.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parks Funeral Home (130 W 1st N St, Summerville, SC 29483). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Brookhaven Fellowship Cemetery (285 Temple Rd, Ridgeville, SC 29472).
