Carrie Platt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2021, at the age of 83, Carrie Platt of Ridgeville, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Platt; her parents, Benny Muckelvaney and Laney Creel Muckelvaney; her grandson Zack Muckelvaney; and her brother-in-law Tommy Ready.
She is survived by: her daughters, Johnette Ready of Summerville, Rosie Tawes (Chuck) of Holly Hill, Lenora Gorski (Marty) of Ridgeville, Letia Chick of Summerville, Laurie Watson of Summerville, Tammy Byrd (Johnny) of Walterboro and Althea Brodeur of Ridgeville; and her pet Scooby. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
