Virginia Goodman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Goodman (Ridgeland, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Laura McPherson Russell; her daughters, Pamela G. Grayson (LaSandra Goodman) and Levy Clemons; her siblings, Francis Taylor (Eugene), Barbara Brown, Diane McCall (Earl), Michelle Hughee (Darriel), Richard McPherson, Michael Russell, Tyrone Goodman (Melonie) and Derrick Goodman; and her aunt Hattie Mae Housey.
Viewing was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mount Zion AME Church (1216 Black Swamp Rd, Garnett, SC 29922). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Lawton Cemetery. Always remember to wear a mask, to protect others as well as yourself, mask works best when everyone wears one. A mask is not a substitute for social distancing, masks should be worn in addition to staying 6 feet apart, especially when indoors around people who do not live in your household.
