It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theophus D. Orr Sr. (Ridgeland, South Carolina), who passed away on April 27, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Cristal C. Orr-Flounoy, Theophus Douglas Orr, Jr. (Angela) and Racquel Orr-Hodges; his siblings, Herman Orr (Angela), Melvin Orr (Betty), Verleen Murray (Norman) and Zylphia Orr; and his uncle Robert "Bobby" Solomon, Sr.. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
