He was predeceased by: his parents, Thaddeus M. Bailey Sr. and Alma Woods Bailey; and his sister Mary Bailey Cooler. He is survived by: his wife Katie Nell Cooler Bailey; his sons, Thaddeus Matthew Bailey III, Buddy (Stephanie) and Michael Craig Bailey (Heidi); and his grandchildren, Zealy Bailey, Katie Rountree (Ben), Thad Bailey (Jennifer), Erika Gainey (Justin), Joanna Bunton (Scott), Jessica Bailey and Joseph Bailey (Grace). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
